I would like to know of a sql statement which would query the entire database to return me the oldest date in the database for a specific criteria. Is there anyone who can help me to write this sql statemnt please. I need help on this urgently!

If you want that somebody can help you you need to be a little bit more precise.
For example:
what do you realy mean by the whole database (realy the whole database, only a schema or only one table)?
what do you mean by "the oldest date" ?
what kind of criteria?

use least(date column ) function on the date column
