So I'm doing my best to figure this out. We're in the final process of select 1 of 3 companies to kick off the R12 Upgrade Project.

Just one problem.... Oracle wants $150K to upgrade support to Tier 1 grant me access to the 2016 1099 patch.
Then in their generosity they offered the individual patch (70KB) for $60K. I had hoped they would be willing to supply this given all the money we already pay them every year to hold us over until the upgrade is complete but no such luck....

Knowing our president if I throw these numbers at him he'll tell me to look into a new ERP system, certainly not a project I need on my plate lol

So I'm looking for some advice on alternative how to get AP setup to print these things.
I'm not even sure if this patch does anything beyond update forms, we use pre-printed forms anyway.

Unless I'm reading it wrong or there are more details somewhere else, what I could find out from the R12 patch was none of the fields have moved between 2015 and 2016, it says they just changed 2015 to 2016 on the PDF. Unfortunately the R12 patch obviously doesn't help me unfortunately.

However if nothing else changes I can just print my 2016 1099's on our fresh pre-printed forms without any patch I would think....

Any help appreciated.
