Hi,
I have a report which is taking data from the view and generates the report.
I am using that report to generate the cost sheet for the colliery area. My report is working fine for the 12 areas but for a particular area a function column is returning a errors:
REP-1401 : cf_cptformula : Fatal Pl/Sql error occured.
ORA-06502 : Pl/Sql : numeric or value error.
I had tried all solution by putting the exception handlers but did not get the result ???
Please advice

one more question i want to ask to you rather than asking in forum that if a function can return more than one value ? and if in the function can we pass the OUT, INOUT type of variable?

Dear Rehan,
I am facing a problem i.e when i run the reports from the menu then the reports gets hanged and no answer will come up.
Ultimately I have to shut down from task manager.
But still the problem is not solved.
What cud be the reason ????

Hi Ashu
It cud be the reason for the error,the formula column could not accomadate the value.
Try increasing the width of the formula column to a maximum value like 500 and try testing the reports .

Dear Deepak & Mirza,
How are you? The problem is solved now report running and without any delay.
One of the tables from where the report is taking the data has multiple records of the same ID.
Anyway I will write to you if I face any problem in future.
