Hello,
I hope I am posting this question in the correct area. What I need is a derived field to do the following:

If Termination Date is < 06/01/05, then make the term date null, otherwise display the term date.

I have tried several things but they are not working, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Does a format trigger on the term date work for you?

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking... I have also tried '01-JUN-05' with no luck. (hope that helps)

You do compare dates with dates, right?

But, instead of making it NULL, you can use a format trigger: make it return FALSE if you don't want to show the field etc.

Are we talking Reports here?

Yes I have tried that as well. I tried to get it to return "A", otherwise "B"
I am using Reportsmith.
