Hi,

I am new to Oracle so have posted my question here, but it is related to Forms and Reports so wasn't sure?...

I have created a form which generates a report when a user enters a user-defined value and presses a button.

I want to be able to code a button that will also allow the user to generate the report in .csv format.

I am using Forms and Reports version 6 but am not even sure if this is possible in this version as everywhere that I have looked seems to reference Version 6i and above.

Can anyone help me and suggest whether this is possible and if so, how to go about it?

csv format is basically a comma delimited field file format
i.e

a,b,c,d,

all you have to to is to create a file using text_io package.
