Dear Sir,
I am getting the following run time error while executing racle forms
FRM-10142: The HTTP Listener is not running on kb-india.kbi-oracle.com at port 8888. Please start the listener or check your runtime preferences.

just follow the steps in the to solve the problem
if your system is stand alone
then do this steps
1. In the search of files and folders just type lsnrctl
this "lsnrctl" is an exe then run that from command prompt (or) just double click it this would solve the problem
this problem is raised because the HTTP listner is not started when the forms developer is loaded it is better for you to give the complete path in the autoexec.bat or autoexe.bat file. So that you need not start the lisner every time u swtich on the system.
