In forms by file--[>]connect menu we are connecting to data base .

when we are are giving wrong userid,pwd,database it will throw error how this process is going on and how  it is finding this can any body give detailed explanation.

first i will check with the database in the back ie with oracle, then it will check whether the user exists in that database.
