Hi all,

Suppose web-enabled form is deployed and many users are accessing it from different location. Now,each of the user has a text file in their local system, contaning data. The forms code is going to do some analysis on those data.

Does forms 6i support loading of this file to application server. If no will the version upgradation will solve the problem. If yes, then I would like to know if there are thousands of user trying to upload their file, will it consumes time compare to if they do the same thing in 2-tier from their local system.

The users are right now doing this uploading and running the forms runtime in the 2-tier.Please advice..

Thanks,

Praveen

Hi,
Yes this is very much possible.
What you have to do over here is to make use of WEBUTIL.pll to open files instead of D2KUTIL.pll when running the Form over WEB.
