Forms Developer 6i - tabbed canvas [message #85567]

In Forms Developer 6i, �I have a tabbed canvas, and a vertical scroll bar. I NEED a horizontal scroll bar (too many columns) in addition to the vertical on the tabbed canvas.

Is this possible on a tabbed canvas?

what u can do is make the horizontal canvas and place it into a differet window .

you can do it by first making a stacked canvas of items u want on that tab page.
then set that stacked canvas on your tab page so that thers is no overlapping
set raise on entry property true for stacked canvas
then omn when tab_page_changed trigger check the top most tab page and hide and show stacked canvas accordingly

not to forget show_view of that stacked canvas on when new form instances

can it be possible to have a horizontal scroll bar on the tab page . I have too many column on page2 which is the detail page hence i need the scroll bar. while i have set the scroll bar on window property but it is not displaying the scroll bar. why and how to make it.

Hi,
Yes it is possible.
In order to display these Scrollbars Maximize the sze of FORMS window(i.e. the window in which canvas is displayed and not the Forms MDI window).
