Hai all,
I am facing a samll problem in oracle connectivity.I have 3 process, 2 in java and the other in Pro*c.What i am doing is constantly looking up a table for new records. Now what i want is, suppose in the middle of the process if the connectivity to oracle is lost i want to keep on trying for connection. What my doubt is how do i know whether the connection is still there or is it broken? in both Pro*c and java.
Your Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Krishna

i almost know nothing about proc*c. but if u using
java,i think u could using connection pool,and u could
get the infomation about it through the internet. and
then it is not necessary for u to know whether the
connection is available or not.
